SDC 2009 AGM

The 2009 Sydney Datsun Club AGM was held Monday April 27th 2009

The Sydney Datsun Club Inc. Annual General Meeting for 2009 was held Monday April 27th 2009 7:30pm at the Cabramatta Golf Club, Cumberland Highway, Cabramatta.

Memberships were due for renewal, with all members that were present on the night that signed up or renewed receiving the all new membership card. Those not present will receive their cards in the post soon.

All committee positions were open for nominations prior to the AGM with voting carried out during the night by the financial members. The positions secured on the committee were as follows:

President - Jon Ovington
Vice President - Mark Willoughby
Secretary - Alicia Mack
Treasurer / Public Officer - Graeme Harlor
Social Secretary - Ben Porter
Motorsport Secretary - Chris Howard
Web Secretary - Jon Ovington
Newsletter Secretary - Dave Wilson
Fundraising - Shane Paton
Club Rego Registrar - Graeme Harlor
Club Car Coordinator - Mark Peacock  

Congratulations to the newly elected and many thanks go to the efforts of the outgoing committee.

The Sydney Datsun Club extends its appreciation to those who were nominated or nominated themselves for a committee position. The club is run by enthusiastic volunteers such as you and would not succeed without your dedication and efforts. We would like to extend an offer for all members, particularly those who missed out on securing a committee position, to not let your enthusiasm go to waste. Assistance in all aspects of the operation of the club is always appreciated, you can do your bit to assist by either contacting the elected in the position you were nominated for or any other member of the committee. Your contribution is appreciated, be it big or small.

The 2009-2010 committee has some fresh ideas for the future and look forward to continuing the clubs ongoing success.

All committee positions are open as well as all memberships are due and must be renewed / valid prior to the meeting commencing to be eligible for participation in both election and/or voting.
